Sandbox and Live
Two separate systems with the same API.
Two systems
Sandbox is for tests. Live is for real players. They are fully separate.
| Sandbox | Live | |
|---|---|---|
| Our API address | https://sandbox.api.nartifacts.com/v1/… | https://api.nartifacts.com/v1/… |
| Environments | As many as you need | One |
| Players and money | Test players, test money | Real players, real money |
- Nothing is shared between the two: no API keys, environments, sessions or rounds.
- The same version of our API runs in both. A new version reaches Sandbox first, so you can test it before Live.
- Sandbox and Live sign with different keys. Your live wallet trusts only our Live public key. So a Sandbox environment pointed at a live wallet by mistake is refused there, and no test call moves real money.
Your account
- Log in or sign up on one page: Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft, or a work email and a 6-digit code sent by email. No password.
- Your account belongs to your email address. Google, Microsoft and an email code all reach the same account.
- A new account gives a company name and starts in Sandbox.
- The person who signs up is the first owner. An owner invites people by email. The invite link works for 7 days.
- Each person is an owner or a member. A member can do everything except invite or remove people. An owner can also invite and remove people, and make a member an owner.
- An account always keeps at least one owner. Removing a person ends their log in at once. Their API keys stay.
- If you lose the only way into the account, write to contact@nartifacts.com. We check with the person who signed the contract.
Wallet test run
In Sandbox, we run a fixed set of checks against one environment’s wallet. For example: a repeated wallet call, a slow answer, a refund for a wallet.stake your wallet never saw.
The back office shows pass or fail for each. You can ask for Live after all checks pass in one environment.
Going live
- 1
Pass the wallet test run in Sandbox.
All checks pass in one environment.
- 2
Ask for Live in the back office.
Say what you need. We send you a price.
- 3
You pay. We turn on Live.
We create the live environment and email you.
- 4
Switch the back office to Live.
Create a live API key with its IP addresses. Set your live server address. Nothing else changes.
Live needs our approval and payment. Nothing is copied from Sandbox: you create new API keys for Live.
- The back office does not create a live API key with no IP addresses.
- The back office does not send the ask for Live before the wallet test run passes.
- If your firewall blocks our live addresses, every wallet call fails. The back office shows “No answer from your server”.
